The JPC is the outcome of the desire of a core of citizens that were born in several southern rural communities and are very disheartened by the state they have become.  The purpose of the JPC Foundation is to save old rural communities that are being swallowed by industry and new subdivisions.  Because these communities have historical value and hold rich heritages, it is felt that these depreciating properties deserve to be preserved before they vanish.
