JPC Foundation's President
and Board members attended and exhibited (VA Business
Opportunity Fair) in Chantilly, VA. They also attended the
awards banquet with guest speaker Mr Earl Graves of Black
Enterprise magazine.
JPCF Completed
a year long project of Community up keep and lawn care in
Eastern North Carolina.
As Part of the
Foundation's 3R's Program (Respect a Senior, Relieve a
Child and Revive a Youth), the following efforts were
accomplished this Spring:
Respect a Senior
Sponsored 20 senior citizens
attendance to Debutant Gala in Greensboro, NC (May
20, 2006)
Sponsored
quarterly senior
citizens (over 75 years old) appreciation lunch at a
local restaurant.
Traveled to
Washington DC, attended National Day of Prayer,
professional baseball and sight seeing.
Relieve
a Child:
Served meals to
community children at EW Middle School Memorial Day
weekend.
Made a "wish"
possible to a special under privileged at risk
little boy with a shopping spree at Wal-Mart.
Revive
a Youth:
Supported GAAA
4-H club (Atlanta, GA) with a trip to Jamaica.
Contributor to
WROC Club in Eastern NC for BUD's activities.
Provide one
semester scholarship to a deserving upcoming
Freshman at A&T University.
Community Projects:
Completed
year-long project of community upkeep/lawn care in
the heart of Parkstown
